Self initiated jams and experimental client jobs to try to sharpen up my vector skill. Tried to translate all the knowledge I've gain in both, C4D & Photoshop, to vector illustrations.
I’ve always been a 100% Photoshop guy from the beginning but some times it’s better to work on your weaker points instead of repeating yourself.
Due to the fact that I’ve never been to school for anything design related it was kind of a big challenge, knowing nothing about the interface or workflow.
With all the 3D and Photoshop experience I noticed the hardest thing was to create some kind of light/shadow contrast or shiny effect with vector shapes.
Right now it's by far my favorite software because of the quick workflow.
